Auction vehicle collection
Arrange collection of an auction purchase once release requirements, vehicle condition and delivery details are confirmed.
Auction vehicle collection: preparing a collection that can be released
What needs checking
Auction release references, opening hours, collection slots, keys and running condition need checking.
Collection and handover
An authorised collection and receiving handover are agreed; loading arrangements depend on the actual vehicle rather than listing assumptions.
Useful details for your call
Provide the auction location, release reference, lot details, condition and delivery postcode.
Auction vehicle collection: questions and answers
Can a vehicle be collected before payment clears?
The auction's release requirements must be satisfied. Confirm that the vehicle is available before arranging attendance.
What if the listing says it runs but it will not start?
Tell the operator as soon as you know. Loading equipment and the quote may need to change.
What affects the quotation for auction vehicle collection?
Collection windows, waiting, vehicle condition and delivery distance influence cost. A quotation should confirm the agreed collection, loading and transport scope before work is arranged.
